From Memorial Day Weekend through Independence Day, the region becomes a living soundtrack of summer and American history.

A longtime family tradition in Coastal Virginia, the Chesapeake Jubilee features carnival rides, concerts, local food, fireworks, and community celebrations that bring together generations of families each summer.


Chesapeake Memorial Day Ceremony

The City of Chesapeake is expected to host its annual Memorial Day Ceremony from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, May 26 at Chesapeake Veterans Memorial at Chesapeake City Hall.

The ceremony is open and free to the public and will be presented by the Mayor’s Commission on Veteran’s Affairs.
